What ’s a good electric guitar of this type?

Hey, I have been eying this product for a while, http://www.guitarcenter.com/Ibanez-IJX40-Electric-Guitar-Jumpstart-Package-518876-i1168525.gc but I also want a spider 15W line 6 amp, and a BOSS distortion pedal. What is a good type of guitar with about a 400 dollar limit, so it includes everything I provided, and whats in the package? is this a good deal? is it worth it?

well package deals are okay for beginners who dont know anything and just want to get started… but your kindof asking a loaded question.
What your looking at is the equivilant of a $200 Wall-Mart Bicycle. If you want to ride it to the beach and put it in the garage and say I have a bike, your fine. But, if your an avid cyclist you would really wish you bought something a little better.
For example, a decent multi effects pedal runs for about 200 bucks. (and I highly recommend multi-effects) A decent amp for about 300. And a guitar – well anywhere in the range from 300-3000.
I would recommend this package to anyone who is a beginner who wants to get an electric guitar/amp combo. It looks decent enough for a noob. But, if you get into it, expect to be wanting to buy something else with a larger budget in about 2 years.
