About the Boosters

The Lake Shore Band Boosters directly support the approximate 200 instrumental music students of the Lake Shore Public School District. The organization strives to provide/supplement activities and supplies that are necessary to maintain a program of this nature and scope. Budget funds from our school district can only be stretched so far. This makes our Band Booster organization is more important than ever in helping to “pick-up-the-slack” when it comes to filling the needs of students and the overall program. Some of the main financial goals of the Lake Shore Band Boosters are to provide professionals clinicians, to help defer costs of marching band camp, and to purchase needed repairs for instruments, equipment, and uniforms so that the students can succeed in their efforts.

It is the mission of the Lake Shore Band Boosters, in partnership with the Band Director(s) and school administration, to provide each of our students an opportunity to receive the best music education possible. We intend to accomplish this objective by providing moral, physical, and financial support to the band program in its effort to expose and apprise our children to the many opportunities available to them through participation in the musical arts. We commit ourselves to the task of assisting those less fortunate to also participate and enjoy the benefits of instrumental music membership.  We pledge to promote a spirit of fellowship and goodwill with all areas of the school and always encourage our children to be the best ambassadors possible for Perry Schools.

For 2021-2022, our meeting schedule is below. All meetings are held in the LSHS Band Room and are from 7-8:30pm unless otherwise noted
