HOMECOMING 2022

HS AGENDA

Uniform - FULL MARCHING UNIFORM, have Black Shoes/Long Black Socks, White T-Shirt, and athletic shorts for underneath uniform.

11:00am - A Lunch

11:30am - 1:15pm - Marching Band Rehearsal In School Day (MB Kids called out of 6th hr)

1:15pm - Hall March

1:30pm - Pep Assembly in Gym, Instruments back in Band Room

3:00pm - Instrument Assembly, changing into uniforms

3:45pm - Transit to KMS

4:00pm - Rehearsal of Land of 1000 Dances with KMS Band

5:00pm - Dinner (National Coney Island Hot Dogs, Chips, & Water)

5:40pm - Line Up outside Kennedy for Homecoming Parade

6:00pm - Homecoming Parade (Song Rotation - Fight Song/Cadence/Try Everything/Cadence/FS/Repeat)

6:30pm - Approx. Arrival to LSHS (Staging depends on timing... If we get there very early, we'll go into school/cool off/use restrooms. We may have to go straight into the stadium and get ready for pregame, depending on time).

6:50pm - Pregame

7:00pm - Kickoff

8:00pm - Halftime (Cheer-Dance-HS Band HT Performance-HS/MS Combined Land of 1000 Dances-Homecoming Crowning)

9:30pm - Approx End of Game, march back to Band Room, band dismissed to put uniforms away

MS AGENDA

Uniform - Blue Kennedy Band Shirt (to receive on the day of), any shoes/long pants. Hoodie/coat optional, but will be removed for performance

2:00pm - Pep Assembly in Gym,

3:30pm - Instrument Assembly, changing into blue t-shirt

4:00pm - Rehearsal of Land of 1000 Dances with LSHS Band

5:00pm - Dinner (National Coney Island Hot Dogs, Chips, & Water)

5:40pm - Line Up outside Kennedy for Homecoming Parade

6:00pm - Homecoming Parade (We walk to the HS behind the LSHS Band)

6:30pm - Approx. Arrival to LSHS (KMS Band goes to stand to sit & wait - no concessions until after Halftime).

6:50pm - HS Band performs pregame

7:00pm - Kickoff

8:00pm - Halftime (Cheer-Dance-HS Band HT Performance-HS/MS Combined Land of 1000 Dances-Homecoming Crowning)

KMS Band Dismissed after halftime - you can stay if you'd like, but are welcome to go home at this point as well. Check out with Mr. Arnold before you leave.
