MSBOA ALL-STATE AUDITIONS

Each year, MSBOA hosts auditions for All-State ensembles. This extremely competitive audition process is open to all band and orchestra students (including jazz band); students who are selected have the honor of playing a performance at the state music conference with other high school musicians from all across the state!

Today: If you don’t already own it, order the All-State etude book that corresponds to your instrument (if you take private lessons, check with your instructor first as they may have a copy!) The required scales are listed on the same sheet. Start practicing right away!

Friday, Sept. 24: Completed Student Audition Worksheet due to Mr. Arnold by 3pm.
By Monday, Sept. 26: You will receive an email with a link to pay for the registration by credit card.
Friday, Oct. 1: DEADLINE to pay the registration cost at the link received via email.
Audition dates for our MSBOA district are Oct. 20-21 – specific date/time will be set within a couple weeks of registration closing on Oct. 1.
